Prof. Gisela Umbuzeiro visits NUPEM

This week we had the privilege to host Dr. Gisela Umbuzeiro, from UNICAMP, in our Institute. She is one the pioneers in Brazil on establishing the organism Parhyale hawaiensis in the lab, where she uses it as a model for ecotoxicology analysis. Prof. Gisela stayed in Macaé for 2 days, where she visited some of the Institute's labs, met some of the members from Rodrigo's lab and gave a research talk. We had a wonderful time!
